WARRANTY POLICY
APT´s warranty guarantees that all instruments will be free from defects in workmanship for the period of the warranty. This warranty will be void if any non-factory repairs or modifications are made. We offer three different product warranties; all are designed to meet the unique needs of our customers. Below is a brief explanation of our warranty programs.
Standard 2-Year Warranty
All APT instruments include at no cost a standard 2-year warranty. This guarantees a new APT instrument to be free from defects in workmanship for a period of up to 2-years from the date of shipment. There are no costs to the user for this warranty and no requirements for calibration or inspection. APT is the only company in the industry to offer a 2-year warranty standard.
5-Year Product Warranty *
All APT instruments include the opportunity to extend the standard warranty for up to a period of 5-Year. Returning instruments to APT for an annual calibration will extend the instrument's warranty for an additional year. This warranty is extendable for up to five years and must be made in succession from the 1st year of purchase. There are no costs for the warranty, however in order to qualify for the warranty the customer will need to return the instrument to the factory for the annual calibration and inspection. The only costs to the customer are the standard calibration fees and shipping costs.
3-Year Warranty *
APT also offers the opportunity to purchase a 3-year warranty for those customers who are unable to take advantage of our extended warranty program. All costs for this warranty are paid up-front and include warranty coverage for three years. These costs also include the cost of annual calibration and return shipping for the three years. However, unlike the 5-year warranty, customers are not required to return the instrument to the factory for calibration and inspection to maintain warranty coverage.
